The La Trobe University
Academic and Research Collaborative in Health (ARCH)
is a platform to improve the health of all Australians.
The ARCH is a consortium between La Trobe University and eight leading healthcare providers in metropolitan Melbourne and our key Health Partners in regional Victoria. Its mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities in which we serve by forging strong and successful partnerships in health research, training and education.
Under the leadership of the ARCH Chairs, multidisciplinary teams of researchers and healthcare professionals collaborate on world class, innovative research that address areas of significant clinical and public health importance. Many of the teams are uniquely embedded within each of our partners’ organisations which provides greater opportunities to ensure that key research findings are rapidly translated into practice.
This website showcases some of high-quality research and translation in areas of clinical and non-clinical health research including; digital health, participant-centred care, translational science and health systems research.
The ARCH initiative allows us to create pathways that accelerate the translation of high-quality research into practice so that together we can improve the health and well being of all Australians.
