Anne commenced at Alfred Health as a respiratory physiotherapist in 1998, completed her PhD and postdoctoral research in respiratory medicine at the Alfred Hospital, and was appointed as joint La Trobe/Alfred Professor of Physiotherapy in 2006. Her role at Alfred Health provides unique opportunities to support and mentor physiotherapists undertaking research across a wide range of specialty areas, and to facilitate translation of best evidence into patient care. Anne’s research program investigates supportive therapies for people with chronic respiratory disease. Her recent NHMRC-funded clinical trials have tested new models of pulmonary rehabilitation to improve access and uptake, including low cost home-based models and telerehabilitation.

Natasha is Associate Professor in Occupational Therapy, a joint position between Alfred Health and La Trobe University. She holds the Clinical Research Chair position for Occupational Therapy and has extensive experience in conducting efficacy trials, health system research and knowledge translation projects. She has attracted national funding and runs an internationally recognised research program in stroke and brain injury rehabilitation which seeks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of research translation in rehabilitation.
Richard Gary is Professor of Clinical Nursing at La Trobe University and Alfred Healt. He trained in Nursing at King's College London and in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His major research interests are psychological treatment, multimorbidity and workforce. He hase published over 200 papers in peer reviewed journals.
